New Moon Movie Tickets Giveaway – Enter to Win Yours Today!

New Moon, the second film in the Twilight saga, is scheduled to open in a little over a week on Friday, November 20th – do you have your tickets yet? With stars like Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, you better get them soon before they sell out! To help you, we’re having a New Moon party on Gather and giving away a pair of tickets each day until next Thursday, November 19th.

How do you enter? That’s easy! Just become a member of the Twilight Talk group on Gather – your home for everything Twilight. Owned by Gather member Liz Gellar, it’s one of our most popular groups and perfect for anticipating the big release of New Moon.

Here’s how it works:

  • Join the Twilight Talk (http://twilighttalk.gather.com) group on Gather by clicking on the green button “Join Group” on the top of the right hand column of the group
  • Gather will announce two winners each day in the group and email you through your Gather inbox to notify you
  • Gather will then ask for your personal email address and send you the code for the Fandango movie passes
  • Movie passes will be in the amount of $20 to be used to purchase New Moon tickets

Hated the first movie, it was horrible. The acting was atrocious! Kristen Stewart is a great actress, but you can't tell that in Twilight. She was reduced to a lip biting, hair twirling, actress who stumbled over her lines.

I did join, as my daughter, of course, wants to see the new one. I'm hoping with the new director, the take on book 2 won't be nearly as wretched as the take on book 1.

I joined !!! We are huge Twilight fans and are looking forward to the movie !!!!!! My daughter read the books at least 8 times each and this comes out right before her Birthday again this year we may have to do the Twilight B.D. party again and take her friends to the movies again!!

My daughter is a big fan ....I'm along for the ride, not that its a bad ride.....Her fav is Jacob.....she's thrilled that he'll be in this movie more-She fell inlove with him in The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl. I must admit he's not to hard on the eyes! She'd got through the roof if we were picked!!

I joined the group- Im actually really glad gather has this group I did not know it was available -I would so want to win this for my Daughter who has been a big help to us and loved this movie as much as I do but money is to short just now to buy movie tickets and her birthday was Sunday it would make a lovely belated birthday gift for her and I would get to see the movie to so its a win win lol

I have to admit that I stayed away from the books for a while because I heard that Stephanie Meyer is not a good writer though I did see the movie because my step daughter is into it.

But I caved and decided to form my own opinion about the books and they actually are pretty good. Stephanie Meyer is just as good a writer as other authors. Now the books are definitely better then the movie but I did enjoy the movie too.

And now... I'm actually really looking forward to seeing New Moon! lol. Quite a bit. I expect the book will be better but it's neat seeing it on the big screen.

I don't consider her a superb author, but I think a lot of people ended up jumping on the diss Stephanie Meyer's writing bandwagon after Stephen King dissed her. She is okay, and she is more than okay for teen writing. I grew up reading Sweet Valley High, and they were fun books but they weren't going to win any awards for literary merit.

Reading has to be fun sometimes and the writing doesn't have to be stellar for a reader to enjoy the books.

In shorter words, I agree with you. I didn't read the books for a while because of comments about the literary quality, but I did a few months ago and enjoyed them immensely.

This is a good movie. I have seen some unreleased clips. I know that this one is going to be just as good or better than the first!

I can't believe that I didn't see this sooner! My daughter and I have read all the books and she is dying to see the movie (and I would love to go with her!) Since we are both strapped for cash, winning tickets would be incredible. Too bad I didn't know about this until the last day.

saw the movie at 9:20 this morning. I don't think it captures the sense of the book as well as the first one did.
I love the fact that Edward and Jacob are such different body types - something for everyone!
